This cottage was designed to be a versatile auxiliary space for a young family. An open-ended venue for exploration: yoga and martial arts practice, photography and music. A quiet place for visitors to stay, and a gathering place for the family's growing kids to spend time with their friends.

A new build, the cottage was sited thoughtfully to maximize views of the nearby forest canopy while offering privacy from the street and the main house.
